Changing the forum view

Post by LordOfSpoon »

Hello!

Is there a way I can change phpbb to display threads similar to Flarum, Discourse, etc.? Ideally I would prefer to be able for my guests to view topics from the start rather than navigating categories.

I don't use either of Flarum, Discourse so pardon me if I misunderstand the request.

Would suggesting to guests that might want to try using something like Active topics help?

PS. phpBB has topics, not threads.

That would be fine if that could replace the board index.

This extension would work, however its last update was 2021. I would prefer to stick with something thats more current/supported.

The author actively responds to questions in the support section for that extension. I suspect it is essentially feature complete and simply requires no updates.
