Issue with update from 3.3.13 to 3.3.14

Issue with update from 3.3.13 to 3.3.14

Hello,

First time posting on the forums here, I've not had an issue with previous updates/upgrades however the latest update to 3.3.14 spurred some strange PHP warning/error messages upon completion.

I will paste the error messages below, it is worth noting that these only showed on the ACP main index page, elsewhere they were absent.

For the time being I rolled everything back to 3.3.13, pending advice from yourselves. I could try to recreate the problem in a test environment (probably should have done that in the first case really but it's not exactly a busy forum) - let me know how I can help, I would appreciate your support.

What update instructions did you follow? Hopefully one of the https://www.phpbb.com/support/docs/en/3 ... ide/minor/ methods.

Did your PHP version change after the update?

Guzzle was added to version check system in 3.3.14, hence there wasn't such an error before it. What webserver is used? Is it IIS+Windows?

I used the full package method, PHP version remained the same (8.3.7).

Hello, yes it is IIS running on a Windows Server box - please see attached image.

Spelling is freeware, which means you can use it for free.
On the other hand, it is not open source, which means you cannot change it or publish it in a modified form.

IIS user probably doesn't have required (write) access permissions to the Windows temporary directory (and/or directory defined in sys_temp_dir in php.ini).

What actions did you take (updating your board; installing a MOD, style or extension; etc.) prior to this problem becoming noticeable? Credit where it is due, this update (3.3.13 -> 3.3.14) is the first time I've experienced an issue with my phpBB installation.

I will play with the permissions and see if there is any difference, thanks - I will need to set up a test environment.
