I am locked out of fairdinkchurch.com
so I did the phpMyadmin thing.
Which seemed to work alright.
But when I went back to log in I got the same thing: 'the submitted form is invalid'
Looks like an entirely new kind of hassle.
Is it known? Can be fixed?
edit update:
I just now got in via Tor browser.
But when in it said this board has no forums and I could find no posts.
So long since i was there I don't know but I doubt I left it without any forums or posts.
another update: so this begins to look like the host doesn't it? Awardspace.
[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/vendor/composer/ClassLoader.php on line 576: include([ROOT]/vendor/composer/../symfony/dependency-injection/LazyProxy/Instantiator/InstantiatorInterface.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory
This points to a or more missing files. Compare your fileset to an original fileset of 3.3.14 (the version of you prosilver and hopefully also of your fileset)
Added: as in your other recent topic: the emergency Founder account has no permissions set so it has no access to the forums.
Only use it to recover your normal Admin account.
Spelling is freeware, which means you can use it for free.
On the other hand, it is not open source, which means you cannot change it or publish it in a modified form.
Time flies like an arrow, but fruit flies like a banana.
Sorry but I don't see the relevance of that post....
My current state is I got into the sql and created that admin1.
Then I can get in with that login - sort of.
It lets me in but I'm faced with a screen with no option for the APC or MPC.
i.e. I cannot move forward and create a 'proper' admin nor can i delete the improper nor can I do anything else.
Any way to jarr it into action you think?
p.s. I did an update just prior to this. We can do that without needing access and I hoped it might improve things.
Relax. I'm in. I don't really know how. I was just playing with it doing whatever I could: sent a message for instance.. and then saw an icon for the apc and jumped on it. created passwords for a founder account, tried it out. I'm there.
It mentions total posts: 1420 but I see less than 100. But okay. All my fault for being too slack. I'm slowly learning. I'll carry on from here..

When you have the The Submitted Form is Invalid one thing you can always try without danger is clearing board and browser cache. In many cases that will solve the "...invalid" problem
As to the missing posts, you could restore the latest working database backup and then reupdate.
As to the lack of relevance of my post ...
You used the emergency account to try and fix certain issues: in fact unless you really know what you're doing you should use that emergency founder account only to recover your original admin account and then remove the emergency Admin1

I do that except when I blunder. I mean I'm aware of it and try to do that.
I have no backups. My host doesn't make any because I've used too much space. It's a pressure thing to get me to pay more. I could and should make backups myself but haven't as yet.
