is there any way to attach / upload a videos from your phone to my fourm ?

You can add them to allowed extensions. Go to posting tab >> Manage attachment extensions . Add .mpg or whatever extensions you want, you can just add them to archive category.

File will appear as link for download and the user will have to open it with player, you can't embed them with out of the box install of phpBB.

In acp Manage attachment extensions the mp4 is listed. I think that is the format a mobile phone saves a recorded video.
The only problem, they are pretty large files for an attachment. He would have to adjust the allowed file size to upload.

To side step that, he could upload his videos to a directory on his site and link to them. But that's not what he's asking.

it are not supported like images. But It can be done with the BBcode I created on the page below, but you need the video url; you can add the url after uploading the video to your ftp, which is close to the request here.

I had a mp4 video bbcode in my posting list also. But I replaced it with your video bbcode but using mp4 instead.
That is a very nice bbcode you have there Halil.

But I post with mine like [mp4=100%] or [mp4=300px] with [mp4={INTTEXT}]{URL}[/mp4] with your 100% in html replacement as {INTTEXT}
Yours could be improved also by using {INTTEXT} for the width. It comes in handy depending on where you are posting a mp4 video.

I just posted in my chat using your video bbcode codes in my mp4 bbcode and it looks great. Thanks for sharing that bbcode.

bit gutted then i was just opening they could upload them like when you attach a image to upload, yeah i got them working as a downloadable link but it wasnt what i was after so i guess people will just not be able to upload videos straight from there phone to the site as a attachment and it will play.
