Weird Problem - Images folder missing ?

Hello all, I needed to access my image folder today but its completely missing in the Public_html folder ?
All my images are still functioning on the forum even after a cache clear.
I just right clicked a image for its path and this clearly works https://www.metaldetectingforum.co.uk/i ... banner.jpg
But as I say when I search ftp in Public_Html there is no images folder ?

Kind of the panic being over, for some reason the images folder ended up in the phpbb folder
Also I lost my adm folder
Not sure what`s going on but I replaced the missing adm folder and moved the images folder back to root in the Public_Html and all is back to normal.
Oh yea and password changed.

Not sure how to respond to this topic but, it sounds as if someone accessed the ftp without your permission. So what I could say is to change the passwords, inspect any folder inside ftp for potential malicious script and if there are any phpBB file/folder missing, just copy them from the official phpBB package for your specific board version of course.
