I have done nothing to the forum recentlyssl wrote: Fri May 02, 2025 9:08 pm A 500 error does not occur overnight, what have you done recently that would have caused this error?
Look inside the FTP for a file called "error_log", usually is inside public_html or directly in the phpbb root folder. You can also have a look for an option "errors / error log" inside of the hosting's control panel (cpanel/hpanel/plesk etc)..
Who knows how broken the current situation is???ghostlady wrote: Sat May 03, 2025 12:25 am Part of this is fixed. The php version I was using on the server expired a few months ago. So I upped it to 8.0 and the update ran. I got a message that it could not find the update directory and updated. It showed the update completed successfully but now the forum still won't come up. How do I fix this?
