table 'confirm' missing when upgraded from 2.0.6 to 2.0.13

Post by fur » Sat Mar 05, 2005 5:05 pm

When I enable Visual Confirmation I get an error that table 'confirm' does not exist when registering . I have successfully run update_to_latest.php which should create this table (?)

hi,

You will need to access phpmyadmin and create the table..
Then on the sql button along the top on the main screen
A query window will come up
paste this code

Code: Select all

CREATE TABLE `phpbb_confirm` (
  `confirm_id` char(32) NOT NULL default '',
  `session_id` char(32) NOT NULL default '',
  `code` char(6) NOT NULL default '',
  PRIMARY KEY (`session_id`,`confirm_id`)
) TYPE=MyISAM;
That should sort it :D[/quote]

Please note if your prefix is something other than phpbb_ you will need to replace that before you run the query
Cheers
Julie :)

I have a question about this. Wasn't that table created in version 2.0.11 or maybe .12
I am trying to figure out why people are having this problem. why does the update_to_latest.php file not create this table.

It was added in 2.0.6. Which is why the script didn't add it (it shouldh ave already been there)
