I havent changed anything in about a month or so. Just the activity of the board has picked up over the last week or so. I'm not using a smtp server.

So it was working? Perhaps your host has a daily email limit? Or they may have changed something.

You either have to get the php mail function to work on your server or use SMTP. The other option is to completely disabel all email functions on the board.

It seems to working today....so far. I'll have to give them a jingle and find out.

Thanks.

I am getting this when I try to mail to all users.
Couldn't get mail server response codes

DEBUG MODE

Line : 164
File : smtp.php

But I sent to a small group and it worked fine.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm very new to this.

It likely has a limit of how many emails you can send at once. Most servers do. You will have to find out what the limit is and send the emails in bunches.

It's not a bug, and it has nothing to do with phpBB. It is your server. Ask your ISP if they have an SMTP server you can use.

This is not a bug, I also had this problem and solved it easily.

You need to contact your server and get your smtp settings.

Hope this helps. :D
