Error when searching or using New Messages

Post by MaineCoon.nl »

While someone uses the option New Messages or searching for something you'll get this error.
Last friday it was there too, but the next day it dissapeared without doing anything.
But yesterday it came back again and isn't gone yet.

Could not delete old search id sessions

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1153 Got a packet bigger than 'max_allowed_packet' bytes

DELETE FROM phpbb_search_results WHERE session_id NOT IN ('cc1c5e5b03e029513c287c2d89f387e7', '9ee0cfe2656cfacf0263f51f7d4c9b4d', '21f94f31e52571e1c13d5381a79a029d', '2ed901efb35525b325b17814eed4db40', '0ea7fa294a381b4ce2823472fdceb1e8', '325175fefcba55bb69a703650ab50a1c', '3b7946474d8c23488d1fc1f70a5733a3',

and a lot more of that strings.

After reading an topic with a possible solution, I thought, I allready exported the phpbb_search_results and empty that table, but it didn't do anything.

I hope someone can help me fixing this error.

Maybe it was the (temporary) solution to empty the search_results table, because now, after a couple hours it works without an error again.

But I gues that the problem will come back later again, so if you have a good solution for this problem, please let me know it.
