dont know if it was or not...but if it was breeching the rules they may have removed it

If it disappeared, it was likely removed due to being in violation of board rules.
Look at the top of the page and see if there is a Private Message for you. Usually reasons for things like this will be explained in a PM.

Hi Bill_Thompson,

The board rules stipulate a size of no more than 90 pixels square. You're just a tad over that at 96 square. Just reduce it's size to within those limits and you should be good to use it.

I am reasonably sure that it is. If not, it was a graphic taken from that image.

I wondered if it was removed because people thought I was promoting piracy (skull and cross bones). Well, I am not. I just think it is a funny image.

I think now I am unable to have any avatar at all. I will check again and see.
