Just from curiosity, why would you want 40% width ?

I'm going to integrate the forum into my website so it doesn't open up in a separate window. I don't want it to occupy most of the screen, I want other things in there too. It probably won't be only 40% but I need to start testing and that seemed like a good starting point. Only it doesn't work

How did you install the mod manually or using easymod?

I installed it manually. I just went over the instructions again and still the same. If I set it to 100% it works, 90% it works... but when it goes below a certain amount then you see what it is currently set to, and no narrower. I tried setting pixels instead of % but same problem. I tried different browsers, same problem....

Does this work on any template or the default sub silver only?

Problem solved !

I had replaced the logo_phpBB.gif with my own logo which is much wider than the standard logo. The FAQ,Search,Memberlist,Usergroups bar seems to be a fixed width, so my logo next to that bar made it a certain minimum width. I just removed my logo and it's now behaving as I wanted it to.

Now to figure out how to integrate it with the rest of my site so it doesn't open in it's own window.

Thanks for the help, much appreciated !
