MOD Validated/Released

Notes:
This MOD allows your favicon.ico to be displayed on browsers. When using this MOD, do remember to place the ico file under this path:

Code: Select all

images/favicon.ico

The favicon can also be shown on forums which run on subdomains, etc. when you install this MOD. It is not a very sophisticated MOD, but it does, in my opinion, add a nice option to a forum. One can do it by himself, but this MOD helps you with it.

If you got any questions, please let me know.

Best regards,

Toho_NL.

It's working fine, you have to wait for 5 seconds.

maybe it's because of the browser you use...

FF can detect the favicon.ico even without saving the Link to Favourites, IE cannot. If you would like to see the favicon in IE, you need to add the page to your bookmarks first... (that's why it's called favicon :D )

No idea, if this behaviour has changed with IE 7

See here it worked form Me after -

http://www.photoshopsupport.com/tutoria ... vicon.html

Also it dose nt matter what size the pic is - I used 100x100 and exported it in photoshop to .ico. It worked, when i used 16x16 nothing it did not. :)
