Are you sure you entered teh database etails in exactly as is? Please review what you type in the fields and try again. If you still cannot connect, and you are 100% sure that you entered the correct info, please make sure your database allows connections. Please check to see if localhost or 192.168.2.* is present in the allowed connections.
Your MySQL server must be running.
You must have a valid username/password for that server.
The database must already exist.
The username/password must have privileges to operate in that database, including the CREATE, DROP, ALTER, SELECT, INSERT, DELETE privileges.
If any of those are not correct, you will get the "can not connect" error message.
Try running contrib/dbinformer.php instead of install/install.php, and see where your connect chain is broken.
