When you upgrade to version 2.0.3 you have to gointo http://www.phpbb.com/downloads.php and download the Changed Files Only package. Overwrite on the board with the files that it gives you. The run upgrade_to_203.php.

What happens when you try to restore? Where did you try to restore. Do you have PHPMy Admin?

From my own experience 3omb is just to big for the board to handle without a timeout.

You need phpmyadmin, even then you may need to upload it in chunks i'm afriad. :?
