Re: [Alpha] User Blog Mod

Post by mitthoo »

i would agree on Omarvelous's idea. actually i also wanted to know that who all has posted in blogs in just one click rather than going and checking everyone's profile where u have view blogs.

and also is there any way to only show topics in popular, most viewed and recent category because at the moment most of the place is occupied by the sneak-peak :D

if there is then please let us know Mr. Excreation

I have been thinking about that as well.

I may add another column to the users table, so it shows how many blogs the user has next to the links by the users. :)

What do you mean? Instead of showing the blogs in the main blog page you want to show topics? :?

or may be when u click on users Blogs. it lists the top Bloggers with maximum number of visits and

u can something like useful not use ful vote in there. so people after reading can vote. something like thanks mod.

and then in profile info it shows how many blogs were voted useful by other user.

and.. and ..leme think..

if possible post the same + in view profile instead of blogs page. the archive one.

and...ok this one is important. like new topic which viewing forum there should be a button for NEW BLOG as well. :D

that it at the moment. if i get more ideas i'll throw them out here.

Alpha 6 was just released.

http://www.lithiumstudios.org/phpBB3/vi ... f=31&t=200

Some of the bugs I believe were fixed were the UTF8 problems, the gallery avatar and off site avatar problems, and a few others...

Please test those things out. :)

Oh yes, I forgot to mention that.

Some code in viewtopic.php was edited as well, so you need to make sure that the code in it is updated.

Other than that, all the code added in is the same as A5 IIRC.

The rest of the instructions are in the mod version section.

Are you planning on having upgrades for future releases at this point?

I'm looking forward to using this Mod.

I have been listing the instructions to upgrade in the mod history so far.

However as this is still in development it is not recommended for use in a live environment. I won't guarantee anything upgrade wise, if I don't say how to do it you will need to figure it out yourself, and in the future it may not even be possible to upgrade it if a flaw in the old way was found.

Because you have to be set as a board founder to access the update page. ;)
