Translation to Spanish of Spain (es_es) 3.0.0

Post by Runspect » Sat Jul 07, 2007 3:12 pm

Spanish official translation available in / Traducción oficial al español ya disponible:
http://www.phpbb.com/languages/

That translation ("es") is suitable and recommended for the spanish spoken in Spain/ Es una traducción en español neutro, o sea, adecuada para el español hablado en España.

My translation has been discontinued/ Así que la traducción es_es ya no tiene sentido.

Suggestion

Post by pitufin » Sun Jul 08, 2007 10:18 am

In common.php, line 768 (last text)

Search for:
'YEAR_MONTH_DAY' => '(YYYY-MM-DD)',

Replace with:
'YEAR_MONTH_DAY' => '(AAAA-MM-DD)',

Regards.

But AAAA is not year. Year is YYYY

Gracias por la traducción, ya me estaba dando a la idea de que iba a tener que hacerlo yo mismo y esa idea no se me hacía nada divertida.

Without an update the previous translation for RC3 did not work. I don't know why the phpBB Group includes changes every RC so that the translators must update quickly.

I hope all this finishes with the Gold Release. :?

It is not enough that you copy the files to the server. You need to go ACP and install the language pack from there.
After that it will become available.
