[Released] cutBlack for phpBB 2.0.0

Post by -½cut » Wed Nov 27, 2002 5:28 pm

It's basically subBlack with the serial numbers filed off, the colours changed and a bit of a graphic makeover.

File: http://stalkingsheep.co.uk/cutBlack.zip (150-ish K)
Demo Board: http://forum.stalkingsheep.co.uk/

The board is to complement my freeware list (http://freeware.stalkingsheep.co.uk)
...and will eventually be part of an organized site. I'm still building it and everything's all over the place ATM.

Enjoy.

Hey

The link for the .zip file doesn't work. I've tried it a few times now.

Please give me a working like because that style looks really nice!

Works fine for me... but the theme is a bit too dark for my taste. :?

It's there. But behaving a little oddly.

The direct link may help:

It's nice halfcut the purpleyblue and black go well together, like droshi i ythink it's too black to make out a lot of the layout but that's maybe more a fault with subblack inherited.

It's good though ;)

Little dark also for me, but it's good template. 7/10 (hummm why release a template for 2.0.0? Why do you not update your template for 2.0.2 version, which his also compatible to 2.0.3 ?)
No more Team Chocolate Member. I decided to leave, it's my choice. Thanks to all for all these years.

Thank you for the feedback. I appreciate it's a little dark for some tastes, but I surf a lot at night and those white ones just glare me out on a big monitor. Plus, I had to go with the colour scheme already picked out for my freeware list.

You lose the subtleties in daylight, but there's enough contrast to read it easily still, I believe.

The subBlack template is running on (and is presumably for) version 2.0.0 on the demo board (hence me labelling it as 2.0.0). It's working fine on my 2.0.3 board, so will presumably run on all the ones between.

I can't get it to install properly. I uploaded it just the same as all my other styles, but for some reason it won't show up in the Add styles window.

(Great style, btw :) )

Hi,

I had a quick look in the zip file and you will need to rename subBlack.cfg to cutBlack.cfg - it should install OK then.

I haven't checked any of the other file references though!

Wow! great colors. I use those colors a lot on my site(s) www.ebonskull.org. If I can get it working with the calendar mods and whatnot and get a background image and custom buttons installed then I'm all over it. Great work!
