Hello :D

I have a quick question, I did all the changes that you had listed. After I completed the changes, everything worked in Firefox, but with Internet Explorer I get a blank page.

I know I did an Oopsie somewhere, any thoughts where to fix this mishap?

(Subsilver2 Customized Template)

Thank you for your time

Jag, the volunteers on this site are very knowledgable and just because someone is not a member of the support team doesn't mean their help is any less helpful. Without them this community wouldn't be what it is today. You can most definitely trust what Raimon suggests to help fix your problems even if he isn't part of the support team.

He does not have to be a support team member to suggest perfectly valid changes.
The great thing about phpBB is the community that gives support to other members. You do not have to be an official team member to give good accurate approved assistance to users.

I should add that if these changes were not approved, endorsed or encouraged by the phpBB Teams, this topic would not be a sticky -- but it is.

Raimon, no need to answer that question. ;)

Hi...

I am having a problem with my website that i am not able to enter the administator forum, that is because i installed a new STYLE, and i thhink that it is because my RC is not the latest, but the changes of the RC that are here is applied on the prosilver or subsilver, but can i use it on my new STYLE.

Yes, you should be able to use the changes on your new custom style. If your style is based on prosilver, use the prosilver edits, if it’s based on subsilver2 use the subsilver2 edits.
To get into the ACP (assuming you meant the Administration Control Panel, not the “Admin Forum”) you need to change the name attributes of the username and password input fields to contain {USERNAME_CREDENTIAL} and {PASSWORD_CREDENTIAL} respectively.

I don't have any MODs so far, mainly for reasons like these. :D
So if I make it again, even with Serenity, it'll automatically work?
Sorry, I'm a little slow.

Also, thanks for the quick response!

Yes I have pruned the cache after the changes :D

Still can't figure out why it only works in Firefox and not IE. :(

Your help is greatly appreciated
