Well, this style does have some issues, thats why the original author abandoned it.

I solved the problem with the alignment by replacing the /style/proglass/template/viewtopic_body.html with the old version

Well by not using the RC7 version of Viewtopic. You might run into new problems.

Well how old is this version you used? Are you saying the first version from RC1 or RC5 or what?

Are you sure it was RC5 because to my knowledge the only version of Proglass out there before I updated it was RC1. Did you have someone update proglass to RC5 for you?

oh, yes, you are right, I used the one for RC1+ and I've replaced the viewtopic_body.html from the RC7 version with the one from RC1 and it works until now without any problems

Sure its possible. But, it depends on how much work you want to put into it.. You can use a portal that already has a menu on the side and you add a banner to the side, like here: http://www.phpbb3portal.com/. Or you use your own menu that would probably take more work.

And I could possibly get you the proglass style for the portal as well. I would have to ask. It all depends on what your plans are.

God, I hate this style.

A few quick notes:

• The difference in color between the glass on the top image and the glass along the sides is not a bug.
• I stopped working on this style because of problems away from the computer.
• statm is the only person allowed to re-release this style. I was extremely POed to find it floating around with someone else's copyright.
• For the record, I think this style is exactly what it is - a rush-job knock-off of Prosilver that I recolored because people kept bugging me to have the green one on my old site.

You want to create a new DIV around the main body and float the menu to the left, and float the banner to the right.
