Quick Edit modifications must have you register in order for you to demo. Screenshots would be better.

any progress on prosilver support? i can't wait to have this mod in use on my board. Great work!

how about the way it is in vbulletin? the ajax quick edit opens in every case (so there doesn*t need to be an extra quickedit button) and offers a "go advanced" option... ^^ that'd be great!

in myBB there is a small dropdown menü when you hit the edit button which offers you inline- or advancededit...
like here (its in german...):

i think this offers the best comfort

the dropdown menu is a cool idea but im still more partial to once edit is clicked the quick edit opens regardless and in the quickedit window there is a 'go advanced' button.

its faster that way and personally why would anyone want to go advanced? maybe to add some bbcode?

to add some bbcode or smilies - on my board there are also some not so well experienced users which prefer the advanced method i think - so in my oppinion its faster and more comfortable if you can choose it yourself first
but i can agree with the other method too i think
