That's weird. I'm pretty sure there's no error in module.php code.
Are you sure that uploaded file size and original file size are identical (3648 bytes)?

That is weird indeed ... I have downloaded the Mod again and now the module.php has 3648 bytes (same version, same download source)!
When I open the (new) module.php in my browser, I only see a blank page. Is that intended?

This is not intented.
Try to reupload it again from the original MOD package. Perhaps it could be a good idea to use different FTP client... The file should be 3648 bytes in any case, for sure :)

That is what I did and it now has 3648 bytes. I have uploaded all other files too again. Result: blank page. My only idea now is to check the edited language file(s) once again.

Try to do the same (reupload) with all MOD files and phpBB3 edited files.

Thanks for helping! Everythings seems to work fine now. The blank page was caused by me because I have uploaded the wrong (unedited) versions of common.php and attachment.php.

But I have one more plea: Is it possible that registered members can access a list of all attachments through the frontend? Or do you know of any other Mod that does this? This now is the most urgent task for me to do.

I don't think it is possible with this MOD, sorry. It should be another MOD I think, but I haven't seen such MOD so far.

Thanks you, your Mod is great nevertheless. I will keep on waiting for another Mod.
For future versions you might like to think about a "total file size" field as a sum below the file size column. That would help to see how much of the allowed space for attachments has been filled.

I would think it should be possible to adjust the list of attachments file from the acp and to copy it to the forum root. Is that thought too naive?
By the way, are you interested in the German language files?

Thanks.

This is absolutely impossible :) If you mean the list of attachment to be available for all board users, it has to be a separate phpBB3 page, just like memberlist is or so.

Sure :) It would be fine if you send me translated language strings with PM. Thank you beforehand.

Code: Select all

This is what I had in mind, do you see a way of doing so?

I just installed the mod and have clicked on the Manage Attachements link in the ACP

The browser is already working on it for about 10 minutes. What could be going on ??

My forum has about 25000 attachements (thats in including thumbnails)

I just tried it with the Safari browser instead of Internet Explorer 7 (both under Vista Home Premium) and it is still working, but it did display the start op the page.

All attachements are listed on the same page !

Seems a bit crazy to load 16633 attachements one one page !

This make the mod totally useless for me, I sure hope the next version of the mod tackles this problem.

Yes, there's a problem really. The next MOD version will include sorting and pagination options. It will be done as soon as possible.
