Yes, I remember your issue. However, I've tested the PM attachments handling (including images) a lot of times and couldn't reproduce this.

Could you show me the link to the one of such images which you get in PM itself and corresponding link to the same image which you get with the manage attachments module?

Did you try to copy contrib/install/module.php from the MOD package to your board root and point your browser on it?

Just put the script URL (i.e. http://your_board_url/module.php) into your browser address bar and click enter.

Edited:

I just looked at the printscreen given in one of the earlier posts in this thread and didn't understand the language. What language was it? What usually appears on the left column appeared on the right instead and it seemed I had to read from the right to the left instead of the usual left to right. Or, I am too tired and seeing things? Excuse these questions because I just want to know.

Anyways, I set the option to have thumbnails created for large attachment, but did not see the dimensions or file size appear below the thumbnail. I want to know if after installing this mod, the dimensions and total file size will appear under each thumbnail like how imageshack.us does.
I also want to be able to attach pictures after inserting an image URL hosted by another web site. Right now with phpbb3, I have to download the pictures, reupload them using the attachment function, and then delete those pictures after uploading them. I have to do this every time and it's too time consuming so, I want to have a more effective way of uploading pictures. I want to be able to paste the URL of an image and it will upload, then if the dimensions of the transferred (from another site) pictures exceed the dimensions that I set inside the forum Admin Control Panel under Postings then a thumnail will appear in the post, which is linked to a larger picture. I prefer not to have my pictures resized sometimes.

Hopefully, your mod will have the features that I've wanted. Please let me know if your mod does and whether you will add all of these features soon. I am looking forward to these features. Thanks.
