I removed the entries which I did not require. I know how to do it but I dont know exactly how to put it through in php terms for all to understand. I dont know php language.. just did some hit and trial.
I edited 3 files, the ticket.php, posting.php and posting_editor.html
Hello everyone. I am unable to download this modification. I get an error on the site "No suitable nodes are available to serve your request." Is there a mirror location to get this mod from? It's what I've been looking for, for a long time.
Edit. I started trying the download with other browsers, It won't download in Firefox, but will in IE, for anyone who was having that same problem
I've installed this on my phpBB3.0.5 (subSilver2 theme) board but can't seem to get it to work. I've checked and rechecked to see if the modifications are in the right place and they are. Well, they're where the mod file says they should be.
The problem is I can't see any option to enable the Support Ticket System anywhere in the ACP. I've looked all over, and it's just not there.
When I go to edit or create a forum there's no STS option listed under General forum settings. Am I missing something here?
I think this is an excellent post... Its what I've been looking for to keep all my support bits in the same system.
However I think its really important that users only see their own support ticket.
There is another area for them to get into group discussion, so i'd like them to be able to submit a support ticket in private. And have it dealt with 1 on 1.
I'm sure there must be an add on for this feature, I just need a nudge in the right direction.
Been looking for a proper Support Program for a few days and has osTicket installed. Then I thought about phpBB and the way it can be modded and ditched that idea. And I am glad I did!
I have installed this MOD and have it working perfectly. I found that when it was installed via AUTOMOD the db_update.php had to be run from the ROOT of the phpBB3 directory. But after this it is running perfectly - just needs to be personalised to make it suit my needs.
I also included JPs Topis Only Visible to OP v0.8.1 and this has enabled me to make each of the forums private so that each post is only visible to the Owner of the post and the Admins (and Moderators in my case too).
Just wanted to say that this MOD is excellent. Thank you.
