I am confused by one thing, where do you put the files from the converter to convert the SMF 1.1.18 to the phpBB 3? I don't see any specific instructions on this and I don't want to assume. I've seen too many times where assuming has led to disastrous results.

Re: SMF 1.1.14 to phpBB 3.0.9
New to phpBB. Looking at converting a SMF 1.1.18 forum to phpBB 3.0.8 using Network Solutions as a host. (We currently host the SMF forum on an Apache2/PHP 5.2.1/MySQL 5.0.22.) I am interested in converting to phpBB for the product seems to have a larger support base and the conversion appeared to be simpler than SMF's. I have been going over your "Convert How To" page, but still have some questions.
1. So far i've set up phpBB 3.0.8 on the Network Solutions Host using their install script.
2. First road block is the install folder goes away under their scripted install method. What do i do in that case?
3. How do i import the data and structures of the SMF forum into the directory of the new phpBB 3.0.8 forum? What format do these files need to be in?
4. Where do i get these files on the SMF forum? Note; we do not have phpMyAdmin installed, etc.
5. There is no instance of SMF running on the future host. It only can install SMF 2.0.x.
Thanks for your help.
