Hello,

Does the new user get an email with username/password after registration via ACP ?

Also

Does this work with the latest version PHPBB v3.2.2 ?

Thanks

I installed and tested ACP Add User on 3.2.2 yesterday, and noticed a bug: the generated passwords don't work!
Passwords supplied manually do work.

Is this the right place to report this?
Is this a known bug? Has it already been fixed in development?
Is https://github.com/phpbbmodders/phpbb-3.1-ext-adduser where the code lives?

The generated passwords do work (I just tried it). What are your settings for the password under user registration settings?

I created 3 users with generated passwords; none of them worked. I had to copy them from the email into the admin dialog for setting a user's password, and set it explicitly that way.

My password complexity is set to Must contain symbols.

Sorry can't reproduce this. Generated passwords are working fine.

OK, thanks for your help. I will try to debug it myself if I have time.
Your extension is a great help, by the way.

I tried it again today, and generated passwords do work now. I haven't made any changes to the software, so I have little hope of ever reproducing the problem.
