First of all thank you for the extension. The scrolling effect is beautiful.
How hard would it be to modify it to display perhaps 3-5 topics at the same time, and then have topics with newer activity push out the ones with least activity while keeping the scrolling effect? Also, does this use ajax?

You can edit to show more than one, but unfortunately I am now very busy as soon as I have some time to tell you how to do it.
