Hello,
there is a bug:
If i have already read Announcement XYZ, the Announcements-field on index-page show me "Topic is unread" :(

That is not a bug but is intended behaviour.

This extension does what it says and displays announcements on the index page. If you do not want them to be displayed then change the type to topic.

I think i used the wrong words. I try to explain it again:

Each topic, forum and announcement does have an icon. the icons have two conditions: read and unread.
But if i use this extension and read ALL posts, the icon of the announcement is ALWAYS "unread" (ONLY within the extension).

I second that.

The announcement itself has no new posts but on the index it shows the unread icon. That is being fixed by marking all forums as read.

I hope that we can get to the bottom of that.
