Hello,

I have installed and enabled the changetime extension and added the permission in Global Moderators.

Where and how do I use this mod? I've searched my board for ages and can't find how to use it.

I'd appreciate any advice with this.

I will quote the contributiond detail:

Configuration is done through the MCP, post moderation page, where a new block allows setting the new date and time when the post was made.

So, go to any post, open the moderator panel, and if the permissions are ok, you will see this just below the author changing form.

Thank you for your prompt reply. I should explain that I'm fairly new to phpBB.

I'm the Administrator for the board and followed your directions ie,

1. Selected a post.
2. Clicked on the MCP link.

I couldn't see any changetime options there. I have added the permission to Global Moderators but I'm obviously missing something.

I've found it, I just had to login as moderator and it's there.

I tried it and it works beautifully, thank you for a great extension.

Hi! I've installed and enabled and given proper permissions in Global Moderator and Forum Permissions, I go to a topic, click MCP, click on one post, click on the i and I get a box to change poster's name but no time box????

What am I doing wrong?

What is your style? And, more specifically, does it inherit from prosilver?

ETA2: We are now using phpBB 3.1.10

Post a picture, of the mcp where this should show up, and verify the permissions for the moderator (use the permission mask tool in ACP).

I apologize... it seems that the "Change post date" option is not showing up in our Forum Permissions... ????

But it DOES show up in the Global Permissions...

The first set is NOT moderator permissions but forum user permissions. Look under "moderators" permissions (below global moderator). Anyhow, with the above setting a Global moderator should see the form.

OK... Now I'm REALLY in "Group Global Permissions" and "Group Forum Permissions" - I still don't see the "change date/time option in the Forum permissions...
