Where might the original be found? The README is completely and totally incorrect. It shouldn't even be in the download.

Salut
As said above, this file has been copied from another extension.
The error is that the wrong file has been slipped into the .zip, I will modify it

The original one is from Martin: https://www.martins-phpbb.com

He moved his page right now but you can also contact him on DMZX's board as they do a lot stuff together: https://www.dmzx-web.net/

both can prove who is the original creator.

I doubt very much if anything will be done about this. There's no way for the validation team to know who made what outside of phpBB. It's still a bit backhanded though by the author. I also highly doubt if the extension will be removed from here.

Well, It will be difficult for you to say that this extension is of your own realization, because by forgetting the file that only the author and at the time had made to know to know stoker, it smells rather the tree for you, but good by also having 2 / 3 nicknames it resembles or tries not to be recognized.

The ext is licensed under gpl by the original author, ssl has every right to redistribute it given they leave the original copyright headers in place on the file. They have done so.

Welcome to copyright law 101,
1. You may copy and distribute verbatim copies of the Program's
source code as you receive it, in any medium, provided that you
conspicuously and appropriately publish on each copy an appropriate
copyright notice and disclaimer of warranty; keep intact all the
notices that refer to this License and to the absence of any warranty;
and give any other recipients of the Program a copy of this License
along with the Program.
At most they could be compelled to add a notice to the extension details page, but they have every legal right to "steal" it, and post it here, as granted to them by the GPL2 license.
