Stupid ?!?

by donsenilo » Fri Oct 26, 2018 2:15 pm

Ok ... you can call me stupid ...

But I don't get it :-(

I have no "Articles" in my menue and also no buttons to add a blog-entry.

This is from the ACP:

And this is the associated subforum:
https://www.paranormal.wien/viewforum.php?f=2 but there are no buttons to add an entry for the blog.

Is this ext only for specific (sub-)forums or can I use it generally ?

You'll need to create articles before a category shows up. To create your first article, there is a link in the acp cmbb settings page
My extensions:

Ok, I've created an article but where / how can I delete it ?
And btw: it is not possible to add a title (the inputfield is blocked)

You can hide it, it's a checkbox in the edit form under the article content area. There is no hard delete at this point.

There is nothing in cmBB that even as an option blocks that. The template is simply

Code: Select all

<input id="title" name="title" type="text" value="{CMBB_TITLE}" />[/quote]

My apologies, I misunderstood an answer, so I misinterpreted it and asked a meaningless question, stupid question ...
