You won't see it if you're using an incompatible style.

No. Absolution already has its own collapsible buttons in 3.1. You should ask its author what happened to them in 3.2.

Absolution theme dose not come with its own collapsible buttons in ver3.2 tho it did in ver 3.1

Your mod was working when it was ver 1.0.0 but now with ver 1.0.1 its not working with the latest Absolution ver 3.2
https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/style/absolution/

would love to get it working ones more.

seams like in the folder ext > phpbb > collapsiblecategories > styles > Absolution

is missing the theme folder and files.

i used in ver 1.0.0 of this mod a folder theme > collapsiblecategories.css
with this code in it but not with ver 1.0.1 of this mod its not working :(
/* Hide the forums of a hidden category */
.hidden-category,
.hidden-category + .forabg .collapsible,

display: none;
}

on an other folder that you have in ver 1.0.1

ext > phpbb > collapsiblecategories > styles > Absolution > template > event

you give 3 files :
forumlist_body_category_header_before.html
forumlist_body_category_header_row_append.html
overall_header_head_append.html

only thing is there all empty files no codes in them at all.

I'm running into the same issue.
According to the folders, the Collapsible Forum Categories is ready for Absolution and other themes. But when looking into it further, all html files are empty. Only the css files tin the themes directory have data.

I am trying to figure out how this mod works to alter the styles code. It would be nice if the creator of this mod could point me to the correct direction....

Probably you got it incorrectly.

So no, Absolution and the family seems to doesn't work with this extension.

Call me stupid, but if I find a Abstraction's folder including files in the Styles folder of the Extension, then I (and I presume others do too) assume the extension is compatible with the Abstraction style.

I hope someone can give me some hints how to make it compatible with the Abstraction style. Thanx in advance

Sorry but you're supplying us with contradictory information. Also, having the Absolution style's folder in the extension means nothing as all dedicated template event listeners are empty. That was made to disconnect the extension from the Absolution style (for 3.1) as the latter has its own collapsing functionality.
The reason was already given earlier by VSE:
VSE wrote: Absolution already has its own collapsible buttons in 3.1. You should ask its author what happened to them in 3.2.
So the extension is not integrated into Absolution for 3.1 and is not compatible with Absolution for 3.2.
In theory, it's possible to provide 3.1/3.2 compatibility for 2 incompatible Absolution style versions at the same time, but that would require the extension code update (both for PHP and template listeners).

And, as I said, Absolution for reasons unknown lost it's ability to do collpasible categories in 3.2. You need to ask its author to bring that functionailty back...ie: fix their bug.

This extension is backwards compatible with 3.1 and 3.2 so it can't support a style that does it's own in one version and then doesn't in another.
