First, thank you Mark for your awesome Digest! I hope all is well with you.

Our forum was updated from 3.3.9 to 3.3.11 recently, but the webmaster was not as knowledgeable as Mark.
As they say, there are only two ways of doing things. 1. The right way 2. Again

Sorry, I was no longer in the loop about who was doing the work and was unable to insist they hire Mark, which would have prevented all these issues.

After the forum update, the Digest was not working. After a couple of weeks, the new executive team (we are a non-profit association of teachers in Hong Kong) finally reach out to me (former chair and very amateur phpbb guy) to have a look. I spent a couple of hours troubleshooting. The digest version is up to date, the cron seems ok, and digests will go out when manually triggered, but nothing works on schedule.

I decided to 'just read the instructions' again. https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/exte ... n/faq/2716
Next, make sure bin/phpbbcli.php is publicly executable. It should have 755 permissions.
Bingo!

So, if you run into a similar situation after updating, first, you should have called Mark, and secondly, read the FAQ!
