Avatar-Size - mChat

I was wondering if it would be possible to adjust the avatar size. The avatar right now is slighly bigger than one line of text. I guess that usually the users just type in one single line of text. Shrinking the avatar around 10% leads to no unused space (in the case of one line of text).
This doesnt seem to be much, but this accumulates: In around 5 or 6 single-line of text posts right now the space of 1 post is wasted.

I have illustrated that here: (wasted space ist red), below is an example with slightly smaller avatar.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have decreased the maximum avatar height from 40px to 37px while increasing the top & bottom padding of the message text from 2px to 5px. I think this is the right balance between a compact layout while not being too cramped.

If you prefer to make the avatar smaller, there are two files you need to edit: ... t.css#L121 (for the no_avatar.gif) ... 1057-L1058 (for all other avatars)

On all of those 3 lines, change the 40 to whatever you prefer. Clean your board cache in the ACP after making any edits.
