Updated from 3.2.5 to 3.2.7 having login issue. - phpBB Media Embed PlugIn
Updated from 3.2.5 to 3.2.7 having login issue.
I experienced a very similar problem to this topic whereby I couldn’t log in from the index page. I got “The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again" and was sent to the user login page (ucp.php) which worked. I thought maybe it was a cache problem and I purged the cache both via ACP & FTP I also purged the session to no avail. Seeing a couple of issues earlier with Media Embed v1.0.3 I disabled my v1.0.4 and low and behold login was back to normal. Re-enabling Media Embed left everything working as normal so, maybe it was “one of those things.”

But by disabling this extension, your cache gets purged.
I experienced the same thing once, on a test forum (which NO extensions were not installed on). Only the first login attempt. Have never been able to reproduce it again. Since phpBB 3.2.6 had some serious log in issues, my guess is it has not been resolved yet, so 3.2.7 still has login issues, which you may want to open a ticket for.
but it's not this extension (it's not even instantiated during the login process). I think it was some kind of cache issue (maybe old template code or something). Possibly even PHP cache on your server?

Hmm, that’s interesting. Unfortunately I can’t reproduce the problem now, thanks.VSE wrote:by disabling this extension, your cache gets purged.
