I just added the Bluesky yml to /forum/ext/phpbb/mediaembed/collection/sites
and then enabled the site in ACP but the link is still not working

Working fine here.

Try purging the cache in media embeds settings.

After adding yml file to collection, the site should be enabled via ACP => Posting => Manage sites.

Everything I'm trying works, and I'm not even logged into blue sky for this. Just grabbing random links off their homepage.

Yes. You need the latest version of this extension. Consider updating phpBB too.
