Search box, alligned left and not centered.

Hi,

I'm setting up a new forum with PHPBB3.1.4 and using the Black style by Arty.

When the mod is enabled the search box is left aligned and not right aligned, also it sits at the bottom of the bar instead of in the center.

How can I push the search bar over to the far right, past the local time icon, and center it please?

Update:

I just saw your reply to another thread and followed the link to your site where I downloaded your navbar search mod v1.0.6.

It installs and runs fine, the bar now sits on the right hand side but the search bar does not sit in the center of the navbar. It still sits at the bottom and looks out of place.

So problem one solved, just wondered if you knew how to tweak it and center it?

Disable the extension, then unzip the attached file and upload it to:-

ext/hifikabin/navbarsearch/styles/all/theme overwriting the existing file, then enable it again and the search should be in the centre of the navbar.

I have the same align issue when using Arty's Black style and if you want to see it for yourself then change the style (yes, guests can do that) on my forum.

All the other styles, I have on my forum, has no issues with the NavBar Search extension. :D

I tried to do that, but the ext/hifikabin/navbarsearch/styles/all/theme directory doesn't exist, instead it is the ext/hifikabin/navbarsearch/styles/prosilver/theme directory.

EDIT: I just installed the NavBar Search extension with the attached navbarsearch.css and nope it doesn't fix the issue.

I can not replicate it in my test environment.

Fresh install of phpBB 3.2.1 with Arty's Black Style 3.2.1 and NavBar Search 3.2.3

Try disabling the extension, delete the data, delete the files and try a fresh download. If that doesn't solve the issue, can you let me know what other extensions you have enabled.
