I was direct here from the 3.1 support forum

Support Request Template

What is your board's URL? http://www.threetowners.com/forum
Who do you host your board with? http://www.server101.com
How did you install your board? I used the download package from phpBB.com
What is the most recent action performed on your board? Update from a previous version of phpBB3
Is registration required to reproduce this issue? No
Do you have any MODs installed? No
What version of phpBB3 did you update from? phpBB 3.0.12
What styles do you currently have installed? Prosilver SE
What language(s) is your board currently using? English
Which database type/version are you using? MySQL 4
What is your level of experience? Comfortable with PHP and phpBB
When did your problem begin? Today after disabling an extension.
Please describe your problem. I ticked the box not to show an extension page made with the page extention. I then disabled the TinyMCE Add-On for Pages extension. Was shown a white screen when clicking the board index. I re-enabled the extention and purged the cache but still getting the white screen, same when trying to manage pages from the extension tab.
I disabled it by going to the ACP --> Customise and clicking Disable to the right of the TinyMCE extension - I noted that it was then disabled.

Try completely removing the extension (instructions are on the Extension Manager page).

Thanks, Bill. At this stage I can't get in to remove the extension using the proper method. I can only access the extension files via FTP, and I know that's not the way to go until it's disabled and the data is deleted. Awaiting the error logs from my host - John from Forumhulp.com has been in touch.

This was not a problem with this extension. It was found to be a problem with the FrontPage - I've never used FrontPage for editing my form's files, always used FTP. I've now moved my forum out of FrontPage.

In part, I received the following from my host:
It seems that it may be the same problem as before with FrontPage creating private files with the same names as the public ones, and the BB system is attempting to load them then crashing out because they are not in the expected format.

As an old guy I'm technically challenged, so that's why I used FrontPage. I never had this problem with previous versions of phpbb 2.x.x. or 3.x.x.
