No input file specified

by 43ft » Mon Nov 03, 2014 7:25 pm

I just installed the pages extension, but am having an issue when I try to view the page I create. I get a message that states "No input file specified."

Anybody have any ideas how to fix this?

Something is wrong with your server setup. See:

No Input File Selected

by Crashtester » Tue Oct 20, 2015 4:13 pm

HI, I just installed this and setup a test page but I get the error No Input File Selected - not sure its a problem of something I have setup wrong, although I have checked and cant see anything obvious. How can I get pages to work?

Thanks

Sure, thought I had checked.

Where do I find the information detailed in the link? I've looked in the extension folder but cant see anything that seems to relate.

This occurs because the url rewrite module isn’t passing along the pathinfo details properly to the fcgi php. Here’s how you can fix it.
1.Open the relavent php.ini file
2.Look for the cgi.fix_pathinfo setting.
3.You’ll most likely find it set to 0.
4.Change it so that it reads cgi.fix_pathinfo=1
5.Save the changes. Restart Apache.

Try loading up /app_dev.php/demo/. It should work now.

Its a server issue you have to coordinate with your webhost.
