Donations Not Showing + Donation Bar At The Top?

Hey could you help me get the donation bar to show at the top of the page instead of the bottom?


And my biggest problem is that donations are going to my paypal but they are not showing donors in donors list.. or showing donatin progress on the bar.

This actually all worked 1 week ago.. but recently stopped ( I haven't touched or changed anything ). :roll:

Using :
cURL version: 7.50.3
SSL version: OpenSSL/1.0.2j

Hi,

Could you enable IPN log errors (ACP >> Extension >> Paypal >> General settings).
Once done, make a donation (or wait for a donation) and send me the content of the log file by PM.

I have that option checked in general settings but I don't see the logs. I don't have a /store/ folder in the extension folder at all.. :\

I actually just noticed another topic in your forum support called "Error?" written here by somebody who said that they get the payment when donating by hitting the credit card option instead of paypal option. So I tested it.. and it seems to work when hitting the credit card option. Let me show you a screenshot of what I mean, I don't mean to hijack THEIR thread, but it really is an option using ur donation extension look at this screenshot ---->

It seems like EVERY option such as.. Auto grouping... and adding to donor list and adding to the donation bar works fine when somebody donates by hitting "Pay with card" but once you do it through the paypal option it doesnt auto group.. doesnt add to donor list and it doesnt change the bar at all ( I had friends with verified paypal accounts and everything help me try just incase the accounts were the reasons..)

The log file is in the store directory of your phpBB installation. not in the extension directory.

When I test on my board i'm not redirected on this PayPal form.
Maybe PayPal en_US use a new form not taken in charge by the extension. I should investigate. But this is complicated to test if i'm not redirected on the same form. :?

Okay I have logs.. but they seem fine to me? What exactly would I need to show you from these logs.

But yeah.. I mean everything works fine if you choose the card option. But most people don't choose the card option so the donation bar never goes up on my forum.

How else could I help you test and figure this out? I'm willing to help figure it out since it's the only donation currently properly (kind of)

When you go on this page, and make a donation. Have you got the same form?

Okay So I didn't go through with the donation.. but I hit $1 and hit donate.. usually for us it shows the screenshot I showed you.. but on yours it takes us to a different looking page like this:

so it looks like it's different depending on the country

In your PayPal account.
Have you set the IPN features as decribed in the FAQ?

Okay I followed those instructions.
It's a business account.

I edited the IPN settings.. they are on

and my board url = http://te**-***.com/forums/

so I put that link in... and donated $5 to myself.. it's not there. It goes to my paypal balance.. but the forum doesnt do anything :\

So, We must analyse the /store/ppde_transactions.log file.
For each succeeded transcation you should have something like this.
