I am using phpbb v3.2.5 and with it a newly installed copy of the PayPal Donation Extension following the instructions here https://github.com/Skouat/ext_paypal_do ... tree/2.0.0

Oddly, what is happening is the PayPal Donations link is showing up when I sign on to the phpbb as an administrator, but when I logged off entirely or when I am either signed on as a regular user then I do not see the PayPal Donations link.

I have the extension enabled, and I have these two options set to yes:
Enable PayPal Donation:
Display the “Donations” link in the header:

I also have a PayPal Account ID entered and a donations main page setup.

PayPal IPN features are set to no.

Also, download and installed the extension from https://github.com/Skouat/ext_paypal_do ... tree/3.2.x

I'm not sure what I am missing, I would expect to see the PayPal donation button in all cases, except maybe for the administrator (or moderators), but in fact I don't see it for regular users which I would think would be what should happen.

Any help would be appreciated.

First of all please install the latest validated version for phpBB 3.2.x (refer to the contribution tab on this page).

About your issue you must set user/group permissions to be able to use PPDE.

as far as I am aware I am using that latest validated version for phpBB 3.2.x.

I'm not sure I know what you mean when you say: you must set user/group permissions to be able to use PPDE

How do I do that?

Never mind, I found it.

Is this documented somewhere - the settings were hard to find?
