We have completed our upgrade to 3.2.5 and the major item missing is the PayPal Donation button. After searching many different areas, this is the closest I have come where it has the button for 3.2.3.
How do I tell if this works on 3.2.5 or do I need to wait for a new release?
Our Host is upgrading to PHP 7.2 from PHP 5.6 on 17 February 2019 so we are getting "all our ducks in a row". Thanks to members here we have worked through all the tough parts - now just the cosmetics.
Should I just install the 3.2.3 extension and see if it works?
Thanks,
Richard

Hi,
The minimal version of phpBB for PPDE 2.0.1 is phpBB 3.2.1 (even if it could works with 3.2.0).

Re: PayPal Button 3.2.3 versus 3.2.5
Does not work with my 3.2.5 forum.
Clicking the donations button I get this:
Then this:
Sandbox IPN works for https://tld.com but fails for https://tld-domain.com/forum so looks like an issue with subfolders
PayPal account is a business account. Any hints would be appreciated.
Thanks.
UPDATE 19 Feb 2019
Looks like the above error occurs if the donation is cancelled before logging into PP.
I tested the above the next day and all worked OK. Tested again, cancelled the transaction and the PP security page came up.
The extension was used by two forum members today and the donations were received without issue.
