Please can you disable PPDE and install Topic Preview?
This to check if the extension works or not on your live board.

Re: Paypal extension fails to show in the menu bar
Before I do that, I have noticed the file size of a CURRENT prosilver is
I have downloaded a NEW one
there are indiscrepancies in the file size, I dont know if this is relevant to the Rescue Remedies style
If I upload the NEW downloaded prosilver, will this mess up the red
This is a such a busy forum, i am terrified incase i crash it!

To compare files/folder use an appropriate tool such as WinmergeRescue Remedies wrote: there are indiscrepancies in the file size, I dont know if this is relevant to the Rescue Remedies style
The file differences could be due to a Windows hidden file.
As your style use the inheritance there are no risk to replace files.Rescue Remedies wrote: If I upload the NEW downloaded prosilver, will this mess up the red
don't forget to purge the cache after reuploaded files.

We cant find 'edit display options'
If I pm you our log in details, would you have a look for us
This is getting so frustrating for us and it might be a simple solution

Re: Paypal extension fails to show in the menu bar
This is the same issue with topic preview, so the issue is not on PPDE but with your webserver.
Go on ACP > General > Quick Access > PHP information, then compare your live board with you test board.
Maybe a PHP module is missing.
Does the PHP version are the same?

Re: Paypal extension fails to show in the menu bar
As your issue is also present with other extension you should open a new topic on phpBB support Forum.
I found that topic that seems similar to your issue.
It may could help.

If it's really a phpBB issue, have you tried to compare all phpBB files between Prod and Test boards?

Re: Paypal extension fails to show in the menu bar
Hi,
Yes you can enter this link, but it doesn't matter. Because the proper URL is parsed by the extension and not by the one you will enter is the mentionned field.
