This is a great feature but will be seen as an annoyance if limited to listing flags in strict alphabetical order. I am in the USA and expect most of my posting participants to also be from the USA. That means having to figure out that the USA flag is going to be near the end of the listings. Now they have to go find it. It would be great if there was an option to chose what is in the first position of the list.

Some reason in the drop down they can't type "United S"? Which will bring them directly to the first "United S" entry found?

Probably, but that isn't what I asked and is not an elegant solution.

I can't be expected to please 100% of the people 100% of the time. I gave you a work around, and this extension, you can choose to use it or not.

You are also free to take and modify the code to suit your purposes.

Here is another workaround:

Go to the panel that adds and edits the flags. Rename the United States to 'United States (Put a single quote mark in front of it. It will go to the top of the list.

This as well as being able to upload flags via the ACP is in the next version waiting in the queue to be validated.
