I would prefer mine to be shown on the memberlist.php page instead of the index page...?

Why? I am failing to see what the advantage is in having the exact same thing you have on the index page displayed on the memberlist page.

Not easily achieved as there aren't any template events in the code to inject the html.

Not sure where you have them already. At the top or at the bottom or both I guess.

As a beginner, I don't understand much of the solution offered here, so I'm just asking something stupid.
All flags are displayed to me in all places where they should be displayed, it's just about the flag overview, which is standard in the index of the forum at the bottom

The content is missing, I just don't understand what and from where. Shouldn't everything be in the index_flags.html?. Maybe someone can help, it would look great in the member list.

With the new version 2.4.2 it works perfectly.
Thanks to the instructions for updating this extension, there were no user input errors, all flags as they were

Would it now be possible to allow the user to hide this field? Maybe like expandable forums on the main page?

Came to mind spontaneously when I had the final result in front of me

If that's not possible, my world won't end, it would just be the icing on the cake for me
