phpBB Gallery 1.2.1 - phpBB Gallery
Re: phpBB Gallery 1.2.1
The Reason of the sql Error is my Mistake.
I delete first the work data of the phpBB Gallery, and then (second) the work data from the Add ons. That triggers the sql Error. If i delete first the work data of the Add ons...in this sequenze: Exif, Import, cleanup, and then the phpBB Gallery work Data, all is OK.
And now the Users Gallery links working correctly too.
Im sorry about the unnecessary "Bug" postings from me, the greatest Bug sitting in front of the Monitor, its me

Re: phpBB Gallery 1.2.1
Is there a possibility that the gallery's permission system can not manage 7000 registered users?vfrblue wrote:Hello
I installed the gallery in a test forum. The permissions I have regulated by groups. Only the guest user is over the user privilege. The error is that the group permissions do not work, only the user rights and the admin have access. After giving the user permission to a user, the user has access to the gallery.
The database of the forum has been set up under phpBB 3.1.10 and the gallery version was 1.2.0.11. Has worked wonderfully. After the update to phpBB 3.2 and the first gallery version 1.2.1 the whole permissions of the forum are confused. After the de-installation of the Gallery and the use of the STK everything was okay again.
I compared the table structure of the database with a new installation of phpBB 3.2.1 and the gallery, but found no errors.
Where can the mistake be?

I installed the gallery in a newly created forum and assigned the rights. All users installed at the time had access to the gallery without any problems. After updating the table: phpbb_users with more than 7000 user data, the previously assigned authorizations were no longer valid. Only the admins and moderators had access.

Re: phpBB Gallery 1.2.1
I updated this test copy from phpBB 3.1.11 to 3.2.0.
I then updated phpBB Gallery to the latest version from github. Things generally went well.
One problem was the user profiles did not show a link to the user's albums. Not knowing anything else to try I went to the ACP Extensions tab, and ran the re-sync's, etc.
The "Users Personal Albums" link then appeared on all user profiles, BUT it is linking to the albums on the LIVE forum, not the wtu-dev test forum. Other links on the test forum point to the test gallery as they should.
I admittedly stumbled around with the gallery update because I could not find any instructions that applied specifically to my situation.
Any clues as to what I did wrong would be appreciated.
My file structure starting at the root is:
forum/ (Live phpBB)
wtu-dev/forum/ (Test phpBB)

Re: phpBB Gallery 1.2.1
Things look pretty darned good with the gallery except for navigation. I find it generally difficult to find a user's album. For one thing there is no link to individual's albums on the User Profiles. I have "progressed" from no link, to wrong link, to no link. WHAT MIGHT I BE DOING WRONG?
The only extensions I am using are: Board Announcements, Light Box, Pages, Site Logo, and phpBB Gallery.
We have been using the phpBB Gallery for several years, but I must admit I have never learned much about the settings and options.
I'm getting too old for this so somebody take pity and help me. I will appreciate any advice that comes my way.
