QuickReply Reloaded support - Posts merging

QuickReply Reloaded support

When QuickReply Reloaded extension is enabled, the 'Do not merge with previous post' option displays all the time below the quick reply inputbox, no matter who displays the topic and who is the last post's author.

Sorry for the late reply, but this has been done intentionally in QuickReply extension.
It is needed for compatibility with Ajax functionality.

Can't it just be hidden when it shouldn't appear?

I don't think that it is a critical bug that is needed to be paid much attention.
But I'll consider looking at it after other issues are fixed.

It is important to fix, because irrelevant message is displayed to every user, no matter who displays the topic and who is the last post's author.

The reason is that if the option is checked, the post will not be merged anyway.
If the option is unchecked, the default behaviour is applied: the post will be merged if the last post of the topic was made by the same author.

That's why the message is not irrelevant, there's just no need in such an option if last post's author is not the current user because the option's value will not change anything.
But the message is still relevant - unchecking the option does not mean that the post should be merged.

The same for Posts merging interval - if it passes, the post will not be merged no matter what value the merging option has.
