by Intimus » Sat Sep 22, 2018 10:31 pm

Hi,

this extension works fine on 3.2.3.
But the first version of german translation is incomplete and just translated by google translate; it include some... in german we say: kauderwelsch. ;-)

So, here is a new translation for formal and casual german.

In de/info_acp_posts_merging.php 'ACP_POSTS_MERGING_SEPARATOR_PREVIEW' and 'MERGE_SEPARATOR' are untranslated. Is it intended or forgotten? ;)

Ooops...

It is neither intended nor forgotten. It was just a massive mistake. :D
I translated in a new file, but I gave you the old file. I'm sorry!

I replaced the files in my first post. (Befor I did it, I checked all files ;-) )

btw. 2 thoughts:
1. I think, you don't need in info_acp_posts_merging.php this variable: ACP_POSTS_MERGING_EXPLAIN.When I click into the ACP it is clear, what I can do. --> It is just an idea. ;-)

2. a question: In permissions_posts_merging.php I see ACL_U_POSTSMERGING and ACL_U_POSTSMERGING_IGNORE. In which Cases the user get this choices?
(If you wonder about my question, please note: I'm a php-beginner :-) )

The 1st one determines if the users' posts are permitted to be merged. The 2nd one lets users having the 1st one to avoid merging posts by checking the checkbox Do not merge with previous post under the reply form.

Thank you, I found it. For my next question I open a new thread, because it's a new topic.

And to this thought:

Yes, I know it. I just wanted to say, it is - in my opinion - an unnecessary variable. I also know, it's an unimportant detail. ;-)
