Editing Post Causes Error with Extension Enabled

When I enable simple mention, and I edit a post - it goes to this Table doesn't exist [1146] error.

Any idea how I can fix that? Right now the quoting system is completely disabled on our forums because of it.

I haven't been able to reproduce this error. Editing a post with the extension enabled seems to work fine for me.

The error you're getting, as you're probably aware, is an SQL error stating that, when the script attempted to edit values in that specific table, it couldn't find it. The first thing I'd do is go into your database and see if you can find the table it's looking for. I'm going to continue to see if I can reproduce this error.

You are not using this extension, but different extension. If you were using this extension the error would say paul999/mention, but it says wolfsblvt/mention.

oook. So I deleted that one, installed yours and now nothing shows up. I uploaded everything from the mention folder afterwards. Any idea why it wouldn't show up in the extension manager?

You can't simply delete one and then copy the files of the other into the folder that you deleted the files from. You must disable the first extension and delete it's data, then remove the ext/wolfsblvt/mention folder then upload this extension into the ext folder retaining the directory structure of the extension.

That was a total braindead move on my part. I fixed it based on your comments above. Thanks!
