Simple Mentions 1.0.4

by prl » Mon Jul 29, 2019 11:53 am

Hello,

I noticed version 1.0.4 is already available for download on GitHub:
https://github.com/paul999/mention/releases/tag/1.0.4

But the version on the Extensions DB here at phpBB only goes to 1.0.3:
https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/exte ... _mentions/

Is 1.0.4 ok for installing? There's a bug fix there I'd like to have.

Thanks

It is still being validated by the extensions team. Once it is available it will be available here in the CDB as well.

Hello Paul, I noticed version 1.0.5 is ready for download on CDB now and it's marked as for phpBB version 3.2.7. I've been using v1.0.3 with phpBB v3.2.0 with no problems. Is it ok to install 1.0.5 on my board or should I update the board before?

You will need to try it. I only test the extension with the current release of phpBB.

Thanks, I'll do that. I was asking because there could be some known incompatibilities.
