Hi Paul,

first of all thanks for this nice simple extension.

I habe a problem with some of my "test-users"...

When I type "@Username" this will not change to red after posting. When I use "[mention]Username[/mention]" I get the information, that it's not allowed to use this BBCode the German text is: "Du darfst bestimmte BBCodes nicht verwenden: [mention]." The translation is: You are not allowed to use some BBCodes: [mention]

All other BBCodes are working fine for these Users, also one or two, that I made by myself.

Any Idea?

It's in the role(?)-settings in ACP...

Yes, like with all permission based things you will need to set up the permissions correctly before you can use it

Thank you so much for creating this. It is very helpful.
I am facing an issue where only the moderators and admins can use it and normal users cannot use it and getting this error.

I figured it is the settings issue but not able to figure out what settings to tweak. Can you please help?

As said in the post you quoted, you will need to setup the permissions.
